This policy establishes the professional and contractual obligations for Part-Time Tutors engaged by Futurise Training Institute FZ LLC.
Tutor Contractual Terms and Compliance
- Independent Status: Part-Time Tutors are explicitly engaged as Independent Contractors, not as permanent employees. Their obligations are governed strictly by the signed Service Agreement.
- Mandatory Termination Notice: Tutors must provide a mandatory 30-day written notice to the Operation Manager if they wish to terminate their services mid-contract.
- Definition of Contract Breach: A Contract Breach includes failure to deliver a course without the 30-day notice, repeated unnotified absences, or unauthorized disclosure of confidential materials.
- Financial Consequences: In the event of a breach, Futurise FZ LLC reserves the right to withhold final payments to offset administrative and replacement costs.
- Mandatory Handover: Upon resignation or termination, the tutor must complete a documented handover of all student records and course materials to be eligible for final payment.
Classroom Operations and Logistics
To ensure operational readiness and asset protection, the following protocols are mandatory:
- Classroom Preparation:
Tutors are required to ensure the classroom environment is fully prepared at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
If a preceding class is in session, the tutor must ensure all necessary materials and setup requirements are prepared in advance to facilitate an immediate transition. - Device Responsibility: The tutor is solely responsible for ensuring that all institute-provided devices (laptops, tablets, etc.) are fully charged, functional, and properly arranged prior to the commencement of the class.
- Robotics Kits Arrangement (Specialized Faculty):
Pre-Class: All robotics kits must be sorted, organized, and ready for use before students enter the room.
Post-Class: Tutors must oversee the dismantling of kits. Components must be packed strictly according to inventory standards before the tutor vacates the premises.
Attendance, Punctuality, and Scheduling
- Arrival Protocol: The tutor must be physically present in the classroom before the students arrive.
- Early Student Arrival: In the event a student arrives early, the tutor should be available to receive them, unless the tutor is actively engaged in another scheduled session (specifically applicable to Kids Courses).
- Class Cancellation Policy:
If a tutor needs to cancel or reschedule a class due to an emergency, they must inform the administration at least 8 hours in advance.
Repeated failure to provide adequate notice will be recorded as a performance issue. - Ramadan Timings: During the Holy Month of Ramadan, class timings may be adjusted. Tutors are required to strictly adhere to the updated schedule circulated by Management.
Professional Conduct and Communication
- Student Complaints: Any complaints raised by students must be addressed professionally and resolved promptly within the classroom setting where possible.
If the issue requires escalation, the tutor must immediately inform the Management Team for further support. - Contact Details:
The sharing of personal contact details (phone, email, social media) between students and tutors is strictly not permitted. All communication must proceed through official Futurise platforms. - Online Class Etiquette:
Attire: Formal or appropriate business attire is required.
Visuals: Cameras must be on, displaying a professional appearance.
Environment: Classes must be conducted from a quiet, distraction-free location.
Tutor Payment & Refund Policy
- Tutor Withdrawal: If a tutor quits, withdraws, or stops the assigned course before completing the agreed sessions, payment will be processed only for the eligible teaching hours actually completed and approved by the Institute. No payment will be made for the remaining or uncompleted hours.
- Tutor Payment: Tutor payments will be calculated based on the agreed hourly rate and eligible teaching hours completed. Preparation, assignments, or other additional activities will only be paid if agreed with the Institute in advance.
- Management Trainer Change: If management decides to change or replace the tutor during the course, the tutor will be paid for all eligible hours successfully conducted up to the date of replacement.
- Student Dissatisfaction: If a student is not satisfied with the sessions and management decides to change the tutor, payment for the hours already conducted will be processed according to the agreed payment terms.
- Tutor-Related Issues: If a student refund or compensation is required due to an issue caused by the tutor, the Institute reserves the right to withhold or adjust payment for the affected sessions, subject to the tutor agreement and applicable law.
