Yazin (or Mr. Musa) was born in the city of Chicago (USA) and spent most of his life in the area. He earned a master’s degree in English literature from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. He has lived in the UAE for the past nine years (as of 2025). 

Yazin has more than 7 years of teaching experience. He has helped many students improve their English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Also, he has extensive experience as an exam-prep instructor (for IELTS and several other tests) and has helped many test-takers increase their scores. 

Yazin is a strong believer in the Socratic method and is a very interactive teacher: that means he loves to ask students thought-provoking questions and get them to participate in class as much as possible, and he encourages them to think deeply and express themselves confidently.

 In addition to his work as a teacher, Yazin has been involved with several translation and writing projects. He can translate texts from Arabic to English and speak standard (Fusha) Arabic at an intermediate level, which helps him connect with some Arabic-speaking students.
